Re: comm manager shortcut
For your first question: You could make a copy of CommManager.exe and rename it Biotouch.exe
As to the screen brightness question, no. The brightness level is controlled by Windows Mobile. It can also be controlled by registry values: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Backlight ACBrightness - value 1 to 10 determines brightness when connected to charger Brightness - value 1 to 10 determines brightness when not connected to charger There might be a program that just changes the brightness, but I haven't seen one. Most of them are built into a UI.

Re: comm manager shortcut
As far as the backlight...
There is a program i just tried out there called LiteToggle but it doesn't work too well for me... when i add it to one of the launcher shortcuts it kinda works, by this i mean it takes multiple taps for each level of brightness which sucks! Here is the solution i use, I have spb pocket plus installed and it has a backlight loop shortcut. I'm using Manila2d so i don't have any of the spb stuff on a Today screen (of course). In spb as long as you have the "buttons" checked in the settings then you can map your camer button to "backlight loop" and it will give you 6 levels of brightness for each single press (mapped correctly). I still use the camera button for the camera as well, it is just mapped to "press and hold" That's the best solution I've found so far to have a functional backlight loop when using Manila2d. Hope it helps! Vancer |
