CDMA Workshop Question

For some reason i cant get cdma workshop to connect to my phone. When i press connect it says connected com1 port, but when i click read it says cant connect or find my phone. Can anyone help with this procedure to get it to connect. I also cant get qpst to connect to phone so it must be a port issue or setting. Thx in advance.

Re: CDMA Workshop Question

You need to put the device in Port Mode, using the commands ##3424# from the touchpad. Then, connect the device to the USB port. If your computer does not recognize the device, you need to install the WModem drivers first. Search for WModemDriverInstaller.exe, I believe I got mine from here, or from xda-devleopers; Hhere's a link I just found for you on Google. You may have to add ports manually in QPST until it recognizes your device.

Hope this helps...

Re: CDMA Workshop Question

I found a link to the driver right here on this site, it's supposed to be available on the CD that came with the phone as well...

As for helping noobs, I understand, I'm at that stage as well. Things that appear to be great findings for noobs are so obvious to those who are well seasoned BTW, I've been able to learn a lot since I've been getting lesswork as well

Please let me know of your success with CDMA Workshop!

Re: CDMA Workshop Question

I cannot connect either. I have the newest drivers installed and can connect with my titan, but the vogue will not connect via DMrouter which leads me to believe its a PPC side problem. Any ideas on what to check?
