Re: VOIP SIP Application That Works on The Vogue?
Usually One-way audio has a lot to do with NAT ... SIP and NAT have never been the best friends; there's a reg key to modify to make it work but I don't remember exactly what it is... i can probably send you my "working cab" but it's custom-made and include my dial plan and all.... I'd suggest you check the xda post and look for soemthing like "one way audio" and you will find it.... however, if you're having the same issue with the Skype, I'm going to guess the problem is related to your network...... latency. according to the speedtest results you published on your signature, the Bell Mobility ping is too high and yes, this may be the cause of your problem. Try get a shorter ping (less than 40 ms is acceptable for VoIP traffic) before you try calling your parties... I'd suggest you call yourself at home and compared.. .sometimes, users will just say "we can't hear you" when they cannot adequately distinguish your voice as opposed to completely hearing dead air on the other end...
that's my 2 cents., HTH.. happy new year! Claudius |

Re: VOIP SIP Application That Works on The Vogue?
I'm having the same trouble with VOIP on my 6900. I can hear people on the other side, but they cannot hear me.
This has nothing to do with NAT. After some searching, it seems this is a problem specific to 6900, regardless what you use: skype or SIP. Before I waste time on something impossible, If anybody got VOIP working on 6900 (both bounds), could you please confirm? |

Re: VOIP SIP Application That Works on The Vogue?
Figured it out: if I route audio to the earphone (with AgePhone or Troca2), audio input is muted. As long as I let audio go speaker, no problem at all.
