im sry, i have the sprint htc touch, could you explain further how to connect my device to my laptop and share the internet without getting phone as modem charges?

well, as long as you have a data plan, you should be fine. I would start here, its a long thread, but deals particularly with PAM on the TP. Now, you can try this fix here, post 95-97, the instructs are in those posts, however, I only tried this on the Treo 800w(it lets u use your regular username, instead of a PAM username). But if you need any more help with this, jus PM me, i help the best way i can

HA-HA.Sprint is not stupid!Internet sharing is not operable with original ROM ,and I hate them for that,thats for sure,and it will show an error 97 or something.The reg tweak didnt work either.Verizon is more friendly with that kinda stuff,but not Sprint.

Yea, that's why you need either a reg tweak or cab file installed in most cases. But I've seen it work plenty times on Sprint.
