tether vogue to ipod touch

I've decided it would be a lot easier to just have a seperate device to use as an mp3/video player than trying to use my phone for those tasks. I'm considering an ipod touch. I think i remember a while back someone saying something about tethering their vogue to their ipod touch (when of course there is no available wifi). Has anyone tried this? Has anyone succesfully accomplished a tether with an ipod touch?
