poor signal causing problems?

I don't know if this is the problem but I seem to have problems with my phone with performance and application operation. It appears to give me problems most of the time when I have a poor signal either in roaming or Sprint. I also notice that when I use my alarm application (G-Alarm) with a poor signal, the alarm is sporadic about going off in the morning. It might be realted to the program and not the problem I'm talking about or course. Also the windows 4 color (hour glass timer) seems to just stick in the middle of the screen at random times also. Has anyone had similar problems? Can a poor signal cause problems for the vogue? I really appreciate any input. I have to be in this area with a poor signal on a weekly basis.

Re: poor signal causing problems?

I haven't personal had issue's with being in a poor signal area, I actually live where no matter what carrier you have you are always one bar from roaming...All apps seem to work pretty well... You may wanna check your task manager see whats running...Soft reset and see if that helps, it always helps..

Re: poor signal causing problems?

I've checked which programs are running and usually its just activesync. I've done many soft resets and the problem is still there. Its not always there just every now and then.

Re: poor signal causing problems?

I have my Vogue with same kind of problem with poor signal. When staying in a poor signal place for a long time (one or two hours above), then go to a very good signal place, my phone got no response for my touch, software doesn't seem runing. Reset can't solve this problem, too. Most of the time, the phone can't normally boot up. It happened to me three times before. The first time, I had to hard-reset to solve it. While the second and third time, I had to take out the battery for about half an hour then the phone can boot up normally. This problem happened to my wife's Vogue several times also.
