Re: push email

Adding a Gmail Account is nothing difficult. Just go into Messaging and click"Set Up Email" enter your Gmail address and password and follow the prompts. Check you manual if you have any other questions. After it is set up, test it out by sending yourself an email.

Re: push email

that will give you email for gmail but it will not be push email there are many different choices how to get "push" email. you could get sprints mobile email program good for one email address to be pushed or you could download the software from the creator of this software known as seven. Seven use to be in beta and free, now im not sure but it can handle a bunch of email address all "pushed"

Re: push email

Try Emoze. www.emoze.com. But I use the first form I told you for Gmail, and I actually get most of my phone notifications for new Gmail before I'm alerted on my laptop.

Re: push email

Rockyjay, have you also been using the calendar/contact sync portion of Emoze? If so, how do you like it?

I currently use Seven and Funambol, but Funambol isn't the greatest so I'd like an all in 1 solution.

Re: push email

+1 on Seven. With Google, you also have the option to set it up using their IMAP server instead of POP. While not true "push", it works really well. I did it that way before I started using Seven.

Re: push email

i used seven before manilla religiously now with manilla it doesnt work. These push emails arent true push i times my wifes blackberry and the same message took 10-12 seconds with emoze it took anywatere from 30-60 seconds. Do we have anymore options because windows built inone that forces us to use their hotmail or live accounts.

Also if i am stuck with emoze is there any way to use more than one account at a time on push. I use to use 3 with seven. Thnaks
