no GPS yet ... no ##DEGUG either

Used 6900, Alltel, 09/22/08 rom, 3.10.671.1.

I've gone through most (all I know) of the suggestions here, when I enable the GPS in Google Maps it tries and tries ... stays 0 in satellites found.

I have tried the ##33284 (and ##33284#) with no results. Nothing happens. Is there a way to verify the GPS is actually on and trying? It is possible that it was sold because it didn't work; that wasn't in our discussions.

are u on wm6.1 or 6.0? cause the rom using 6.1 was released in october sometime and until then the gps radio was disabled...

ROM date is before october, but it is 6.1 "professional". I have what is current as of December 18; haven't checked since then.

I A$$_U_ME that I'm doing something stupid ... the most common cause for problems. Do you know if ##DEBUG works on the noted ROM?
