Problems caused by Manilla2D?

Well I did a hard reset and installed Manilla2D, and i'm using just that and the stock sprint 6.1 ROM and all of a sudden im having a couple annoying problems and wondering if there is any fixes to them.

- When I click on a Text Message from the main screen and it brings up the threaded texting, when im using "Touch Diamond Keyboard" XT9 or ABC and I start typing it will type as if im holding down the letters like if I press the "as" button "?" will come up, and for me to type normal i have to go to Start>Programs>Messaging, which is really annoying lol.

- when i turn device on i get a startkey.exe error, i just turned error reporting off so i wouldnt see it but thats all

- Another one is im using the TouchFlo2D Dialer, and if i switch from call status to where it lets me choose speaker phone, and then try going back to keypad it will freeze up and ill have to soft reset.

- I installed the digital clock cab and changed my regional settings and soft reset and the clock is still analog =(

- I put the theme files into my Windows folder, and then go to Start>Settings>Today and none of them show up in the list =(

- also when i soft reset it, when it turns on it says "this device can not boot up press send key to reset the device back to factory settings or press any other button to cancel" i just push END and it boots up normal. weird i guess?

- last problem/bug that i can remember is that my phone is really slow and all i have is Manilla2D, sMMS Full, TouchFlo2D Dialer, Touch Response (Vibration), Skyfire.

sorry about the huge problem list, im just wondering if these are common problems with Manilla2D, and any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance =D

Re: Problems caused by Manilla2D?

I hate to say it but I have NONE of these problems, well sort of, there is one that you have that I had that is because of the way M2D locks down the files (luckily there is a program to do it for you). You can't install the themes to change the M2D interface as a cab. You need to use a program like M2DC (Manilla2D Customizer). It will give you a graphical interface to customize m2d to your hearts content.

You can find the program here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392

Just leave the files as a zip or cab and you can browse to them and select them. It will take care of the rest. You can customize what buttons show at the bottom, their order etc. IT IS WONDERFUL and for me works great.

Unfortunately, I can't help ya with the rest.

Re: Problems caused by Manilla2D?

I have a lot of the same problems, also since installing I cannot always answer phone calls (which kind of sucks as it is, of course, a phone). I LOVE M2D, so much that I am willing to put up with these annoyances, but if there is a fix that would be great. Not sure if this is the place to put this or if this should be over in the actual M2D thread. If you wouldn't mind maybe I will copy your list in that thread...but will wait for your response.
