got some questions

i have an htc touch by sprint..the vouge...anyway,i like mindows mobile but was wanting something a little more open source..does anyone know were to get maybe linux mobile.also...about roms..what are they and what do they do.im not stupid on computers by any sence of the word but am when it comes to phones.any help whould be greatly appreciated.

roms are the os with default programs/settings. you can get custom roms that come with different programs/settings but you need to unlock your phone first. see the htc vogue upgrades section to find out more about this.

as far as alternate os's, i haven't really looked into it much but i know there is a somewhat functional version of android (google's os) made for the touch. i heard that's pretty safe to load on to your phone.

i have android of it know but im not satisfied...to many bugs mith the hardware end button.if an upgrade comes out for it then i might go back...but idk.
