I'm on the Rogers network and i have the HTC touch. First things first, I don't have GPS on my device, will this WM6.1 sprint update work on my phone?

I've been reading and I think i may have made myself more confused than when i started about locking/unlocking/roms and all that good stuff.

you do not want to flash a cdma rom onto a gsm phone meaning yours has a sim card and cdma is programmed= no sim card. try looking here.

I see, so where on this site should i be posting questions about my GSM touch? I want to get the WM6.1 on it.

i don't think there's a dedicated forum for the gsm touch (aka the elf) here but check out the forum on xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=374

i see custom roms. maybe one of them has gps.
