Flashed XV6900: How can I exchage it through warrantee?

Hello all,
I have done a lot of searching and it appears that there is no way to get the stock radio back onto my flashed xv6900. CRAP. I wanted to get it replaced(the speaker is cracking bad) Is there anything else I can do to get it covered under warranty? Brick it on purpose? Is it worth flashing the dumped rom with the old radio?
I hear some poeple saying that if verizon notices after they have recieved the phone that they will cahrge you. has this happened to anyone? Or have you heard of an actual time when this happened?

are you sure about that... it should be very easy to flash back to stock rom... download it from the htc home site if you cant find it here... but afterward be sure to relock your phone, otherwise they will know it waas flash to something else even tho you relock to stock rom

Yea,
Its easy for all carriers but Verizon because they didnt release the stock rom. You can install the dumped rom. But your phone will still show the wrong radio. PLEASE HELP!!!

actually in the thread they say it may be a leaked version... if thats the case; you may have to just wait untill its officially releassd... or use the old stock dump rom u mentioned... if it's an official rom, it shouldn't be a problem, i dont think....

I would just get a replacment and not send back your old one. They hardly ever send out bills. They don't need to waste time refurbishing another device. If they charge you send it back. And it is unlikley that they will catch the radio. Some people have gotten refurbs with unlockers on them...

My Verizon Xv6900 broke while under warranty. I had flashed to WM 6.1 custom radio 3.14 Radio too. They don't check them at all anymore if reported broken.

The official ROM update has been released now, so flash this update and there should be no problems (I would assume).
