oK SO I used your attached and tried to put it in the registry to replace welcomehead.96 and it starts to try to do the animation but then it freezes at the begining and then goes on to tflo2d without finishing it. I was hoping the someone would know how to fix it.

Well, the safer bet would have been to copy the existing file name for the startup animation. Then, rename the replacement file (attachement from above) and drop it into your windows folder, overwriting the existing file.
This would have kept you out of the registry. welcomehead is different than the startup animation The welcomehead (either - *.png or *.jpg) is what displays immediately following the startup animation.
