Any over-heating issues with the Vogue?

Hi guys. Well I did some searching just to see if there happend to be any over-heating issues with the Vogue. I didn't seem to find any... But just to be clear I wanna know if there are any. I am looking to upgrade from my Mogul to the Vogue because of the overheating issues and the tacky keyboard. I like the look and feel of the Vogue, but if it has over heating issues I am not gonna go for it. I plan on changing the housing out so I know the cracking won't be an issue for me. Anyhow and insight on this would be great. Thanks!

Thanks guys... That makes me happy.

As for the cracking issue, there seems to be an issue with the white casing on the Verizon branded Vogue. There is sticky at the top...

Re: Any over-heating issues with the Vogue?

No overheating at all. Other than the SD card issue with the stock WM6 Sprint ROM, there have as others have said been "no problems I didnt create" with my Touch. Love the form factor and generous memory, miss hardkeys for apps and WiFi.

Mainly because the white housing is plastic like while the sprint housing seems more rubberized. I changed housings its pretty easy took about 20 minutes...

Re: Any over-heating issues with the Vogue?

I had overheating when in low signal areas(1x) and running internet sharing full speed. upgraded the battery and now no more overheating issues. one quick question, if your looking for a new phone, are you also getting a new plan? only reason i ask is alltel has the diamond that has the g-sensor in it and alltel is going to be verizon at the end of the year so new better phone and the 'same' company in the end.

i've had my verizon vogue for a few months now, dropped it a couple times and it never cracked the housing in the trouble spots.

as for overheating, i've managed to overheat mine consistently if i use skyfire (BEST BROWSER EVER) while charging to watch videos on hulu. even then i'll have to watch videos for about an hour before it over heats. also it's laying on my bed when it happens so that doesn't help i'm sure.

Re: Any over-heating issues with the Vogue?

No probs with heat here, nothing. Added extended battery recently (did a write up on it in this forum) and no probs there either. I've since moved on to the Pro, but no complaints at all with the Vogue.

Re: Any over-heating issues with the Vogue?

Wonderful! I really am looking to upgrade! I am one un-happy Mogul owner right now... I decided to run the HTC QVGA YouTube app and I can only watch one video until it says "device too low on memory". That and over heating issues makes the Mogul a wacked out device. I really wish we could get WiFi on the Vogue though, I am starting to want the more I think about it...
