Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

i think WMWifiRouter is much much better then PAM. I use it myself. THe best part about it is that you can encrypt the connection so no body can leech of your connection in other words you can set a password for ur connection

Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

I dont believe you can use wmwifirouter on the touch since it has no wifi. You use internet sharing via usb or bluetooth pan.

Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

You have to have a device capable of wifi connections. The Sprint Touch (Vogue) does not have built in wifi.

WMWifiRouter costs 29.99 and someone correct me if I'm wrong that is good for upgrades for new releases as well...

Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

Sorry no wifi on the touch. Paying for the software for the touch would be a waste if you are trying to use wifi. The hardware does not exist in this phone. If you are connecting wireless you are doing via bluetooth.

Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

You can use WMWiFiRouter with a usb cable. Just be sure you have latest verison of it. It gives you several options for how you would like to connect. I use it on usb, since my desktop doesn't actually have wireless in it. I think it actually makes the data connection better than just "internet sharing".

Re: WMWifiRouter vs. PAM Connection

The software may help but there should be no problem communicating between your pc and the phone. Of course you have to have bluetooth on the pc which you can add if you dont already have. USB works fine for me using ms activesync so i just use that and i use that for charging cause the wall outlet is gremlinized (see related posts on this). You cant charge via bluetooth.
