text ringtone issues

For some reason the ringtone I have been using for my text messages will work off and on. There have been no new programs installed or removed so I am at a loss. The ringtone for my phone is still working just fine so I don't know what to do. Are there any settings in the registry that I should check?

Problem solved with a hard reset. Everything is working great now.

Use any ringtone you want and save it to your phone. I have my ringtones saved in a few places.. Mine are saved in the Widows folder and in Windows/Rings folder as well.

say what?...how long can a ringtone text be...more than 30 sec's?...more than a nimute?........like on a razor..can u get or have a reminder beep every 5 min like a razor?....talking about a 6900 sprint partial flash to cricket.....but the mms is down and out for the count til i get some help....thanks for answering back......
