Re: 20931 PPCGeeks Kitchen Huge Improvement!

Here's a few shots of the ROM I cooked and installed.

The only issue I'm having is that the task manager is missing in the upper right hand corner by the battery meter. I can go in and set it to display, but the setting won't keep after a reset.

Any way to make this setting stay?

i don't know what the task manager issue is. Maybe try cooking with the newer version of HTC Task manager (not the one that says vogue by it, but the one with the higher version #)?

also, what theme are you using? it's pretty cool! and can i cook it in without having to install it after i flash?

I recall using the newer one or may have select both. Can't actually remember. I've cooked several ROM's over the last few days and keeping it all straight is tough.

The theme I am using in the shots is CleanClock_Twolf

I have several of his themes loaded on my phone. Actually the icons for the tabs are a remnant of his BlackVista theme.

Here's a link to XDA with the TWolf themes.

Re: 20931 PPCGeeks Kitchen Huge Improvement!

There' a new version of M2DC that's been released and it's very nice.

I was having problems with my tabs and some of the M2D settings reverting when I would change themes, with this new release it's just like it should be.

It also will prompt you about keeping/updating the weather tab as some people were putting a new weather XML in their themes.

Lots more, it's evolving quite nicely.

Another shot using the new M2D program and a lightly customized theme.

Which OEM/theme did you use for this look (assuming you selected out of the kitchen)? Or did you customize it yourself? That looks awesome!

I customized it myself as I didn't care for the red background of the Bucs theme that was posted on XDA. It was to hard to read the light colored fonts and red isn't really a color I like.

I grabbed the background(s) from a different theme as well as the icons from an iphone theme and put it all together.

Here's a link to both of the Bucs themes I put together, download links are below the screenshots.

Re: 20931 PPCGeeks Kitchen Huge Improvement!

I'm new when it comes to using the kitchen. I've tried building a couple with 20931 and I am having a couple of issues. My GPS doesn't seem to work at all, and the data switches to 1X every time I use it. When I'm not using the data it says EV. Any tips on what I'm doing wrong or not doing would be much appreciated.

PS CenFlo: I love the Bucs themes, well done!

Edit: Well I built a new ROM using the kitchen and made sure to do a hard reset this time, internet connection problem is gone now. I was assuming that the GPS fixes were already a part of this base, I guess not. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks on the theme, my Bucs are 9-3, must have something to do with the smoooooth theme I threw together.

For the GPS have you redone the QPST and registry entries? I've had to redo both each time I have flashed for the quick locks.

My data icon/indicator seems to go back and forth, but it always works just fine.
