HTC Vogue from Sprint to Verizon… Help request

I have a Sprint 9600 and I’m trying to convert it to Verizon.

I was following the directions found at http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=458240#post458240
I made it through the unlocking part (step 30).

I found RUU_Vogue_VZW_WWE_3.14.605.1_Radio_3.37.77_Ship.ex e. “I get Error 294 Invalid Vender ID. This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check you Update Utility”

I have no idea what to do now and can’t seem to find any info on this that makes sense to me.

Please help!

Re: HTC Vogue from Sprint to Verizon… Help request

I'd be happy if anyone could give me any way to get my Sprint Touch working on my Verizon line... I've read a lot of things that say it can be done but not understanding how. I could also use some pointers on how to use the RUU and nbh files.

Thanks a million!

Not sure about the switching from Verizon to Sprint

But as for the nbh. you place that file inside of RUU and then run ROM Update Utility exe.

Now for a dumb question but its gotta be asked did you un-lock you r phone first?

if you have an account already you can try *228 option 3 enter your 10 digit number and it should activate on your account, atleast it did for me and my buddies sprint vogue on verizon, though I am hoping to do this update to get rid of the roaming mode.

It will not fix the roaming issue. I've tried. The only thing that got rid of it for me was to change the ERI like in the following thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39985
