Camera wont save to storage card most of the time

I've seen this issue on here a bunch of times, and its really starting to drive me nuts. Has anyone been able to sucessfully fix this issue? My touch likes to randomly forget the storage card is there, usually making me lose the picture i was taking that should have gone on there in the process. I'm getting sick of losing all my pictures and dont want to fill up the ram with them...

looks like a good program for tweaking, but how is that going to fix my storage card problem?

I have had this problem in the past many times. I found it was because I copied files to the card from my PC. After a reformat my problem went away. It took a few for me to learn the lesson.
