Unhappy GPS Trouble

I am having some trouble getting my gps to connect up. I have tried both GPSToday and Google Maps and can't get a lock with either. I have CricKet for a carrier, Rom Version 3.08.666.1, Radio 3.42.30.

The phone was previously Sprint but was flashed to CricKet with working internet and mms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: GPS Trouble

Ok, now this is odd...I for some reason now get 4 or 5 sat. locks for approx 20 seconds and then GPSToday shuts itself off.

Any ideas?

Re: GPS Trouble

after installing that file that you posted I now have a lock inside my apt on 6 sat., however it shows my address as being wrong, and now as I am typing this GPSToday just shut itself off. However, if I use Google Maps I can get at least 4 active sat. but this program doesn't seem to have the features that GPSToday does. Am I just out of luck?

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but this is driving me nuts.

Re: GPS Trouble

Ok, this is odd now. Google Maps will stay locked on to sat. where GPSToday drops them after about 5 minutes. I have had Google Maps running with at least 4 sats now for at least 10 minutes with no trouble.

I have checked for updates for GPSToday and it says that it is up to date so I am at a loss. I really would like to get this working as it would come in handy for me when I am at work.

Thanks again

Re: GPS Trouble

Well, after some trial and error I did manage to get gpstoday to stay locked onto about 7 sats, but for some reason it won't show my address or location on the map. Any ideas on this?

Thanks
