ROM Help

I need some help I am trying to cook in drivers into a ROM. Could somebody enlighten me on how to do that?

www.ppckitchen.org ? What drivers, and what rom? Just don't say video drivers...

well that is what I want to test out some stuff I have been over to ppckitchen.org. well I want to try to replace several dlls trying to see if I can get something working on our touches! I have ABOUT 2 weeks with nothing to do so I want to take and play with it.

Well, tell us what your doing and somebody might be able to help. What are the specifics?

I am trying to see if I could do a port of the 3d drivers over to the Touch....I know the different in the chipset but I need to do some cooking. So I would be replacing several different files....Thanks in advance...

Just drop the oem into your ..\OEM folder. Here is a little better direction:

1. Drop the drivers into the OEMAPPS folder
2. Replace your chipset in your device
3. Decompile and totally rewrite most of the .exe, and .dll files on your device...
4. Compile your rom and flash

-- or, the easy way --

buy a device with them already in it. This has been beaten many times, you cannot do this without a huge amount of skill and time. Those folks with that skill have already moved on to future devices of tomorrow...

You can do that sorta stuff when you want to update Opera, but not a chipset. I didn't wanna sound harsh in my previous post, but whoever mentioned this in the first place totally mislead the masses here. It can't happen, even on the internet....

naw I understand but I might not have the programming knowledge tho too bad...it was a thought
