Screen acting Funny (help?)

My touch screen used to be perfect. Seeming to get better with time. But suddenly now it acts funny. It doesn't register my finger or stylus touching the screen. Sometimes it acts better than others. I thought maybe it was the old windows mobile 6.1 i was running (pre-official release) and decided to install the official 6.1 just now to start fresh, and problem still is going. when i press it, sometimes the cube thing pops up. or just doesn't do anything. It sometimes takes 3-4 taps before it does anything. Any help? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

at times, i wanna type, and it will think that i touched the screen at completely different place (start menu or menu... etc.) I have aligned the screen some 20 different times. I don't know what to do? :/

I"m not 100% on this but i think there's a regedit you can try. Something about screen pressure sensitivity, or just sensitivity, but i could be wrong...

I read somewhere that it could be from dropping it :/

Look at your screen, while the backlight is off, under fluorescent lights. Do you see a rainbow hue anywhere on the screen? If so, you can get a replacement from you carrier. I had this happen to my Touch and Sprint replaced it (after some customer service haggling) with a Diamond.
