xv6900: send button in outlook does nothing!

I just installed the official verizon wm6.1 yesterday. my gmail account appears to work fine but I setup IMAP for my work server. I am experienced enough and checked my work a dozen times to know that it has been config'd correctly.

When I reply to an email on the work IMAP the SEND button simply does nothing in OUTLOOK. It just clicks and the email never is sent.

I've done some google searchs on issues with SMTP and OUTLOOK on wm6.1 with little luck. I have also run several cooked roms of wm6.1 on my xv6700 and now my xv6900 with never the same issue.

I can send a new email but not reply from that account?!? I have deleted it and added the account again and again.

anyone seen this?
