3.42.50 Radio on Sprint

Can I use the 3.42.50 radio from Bell on my Sprint Vogue ?? I have tried flashing the Bell ROM for the radio & then re-flashing my vogue with a custom ROM meant for Sprint. But after doing that I cannot make any calls from my phone because of an invalid phone number.

My username in the device configuration has a Bell address in it.

Please advise on how to get this to work.

Thanks, in advance.

yes, you can use the Bell radio on your sprint touch, I did the same for many months.....I never had any problems flashing my customs roms afterwards, but I would suggest running DCD's sprint carrier cab, then run IOTA.

Re: 3.42.50 Radio on Sprint

Thanks. That was the missing piece of the puzzle in my attempted move to upgrade the radio.

IOTA still gives me a 1012 error, after running DCD's sprint carrier cab ?? Any idea why this might be happening ?

I had the same IOTA issues over the weekend with a "new" replacement Mogul. Sprint tech support (from America - go figure!) said that they have been having real problems the last couple of weeks with their data provisioning and that almost all the new phones are taking several days to get connected. The existing phones already on the network are fine, but new provisioning is a beeotch. He actually gave me a $100 credit on my bill for the inconvenience of not having data service for the past 5 days. I doubt you'll get the credit since you're cooking, (which I was also doing at the time, but with a new replacement phone), but at least you got some info.
