Newbie with a question on Playing Mp3's and Audio Manager

I'm new here. I've been searching, but honestly, I'm not techy enough to figure out some of this stuff much less understand the terminology used on these forums.

Here is what I would like to do and it would be great if someone could tell me if it is possible.

Can I make Audio Manager my Default player instead of Windows Media Player.

When I goto the Cube, it defaults to Windows Media Player.

If so, then how?

Next question. I noticed that when I opened up Audio Manager, it has a word in the list noted as "Protected". I was thinking I could move over my MP4 itune files over to my mini SD card and play my itune songs on this player. I'm thinking that must be a no - go.
