I was having the same problem at first... Did the following fix (a couple times, it didn't seem to stick the first time I did it)...

** Found a few places online **

Go To: Settings>Connections Tab>Connections>Manage existing connections

Select: "Data Network Connect"

Click "Edit"

Number to Dial Is #777

Then Add this:

Username: [Your 10-digit cell number]@vzw3g.com (Without the Brackets)

Password: vzw

Domain: [leave blank]

Click The "Save Password" checkbox (if there is one... there wasn't on mine for some reason)

Click "Finish"

tried that last night. i called vzw customer service, and they tried to re-authenticate my phone, but failed. ive also tried *228.

i just installed the dcd carrier cabs, and its giving me a new message, "error code :11 PPP connection error"

im going to try a reflash and see if it helps.

your data is not working because of the Sprint Customizations you let run when you flashed the official Sprint rom.....it's the Sprint PRI.

That Verizon rom in my ftp folder was just a sprint or bell based rom (cant remember which) that I modified to include the Verizon setting & icons.

I would take sdlucky's advice & flash the leaked unofficial Verizon rom. This will flash your rom, radio, and should get you going...make sure you LET the customization run!!

ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Verizon/RUU...37.77_Ship.exe

once you get your phone working 100%, then you can flash a custom rom....just remember, NEVER let customizations run when you're flashing rom from another carrier!!
