Camera Issue with M2d on Dette ROM

Sprint Touch with M2d Dette ROM, the camera does not function correctly. When I launch it, the left side of the screen still shows the start menu/bar, cutting off a part of the camera view window. And, when I click on the close button, or any of the camera function buttons, they click other parts of the screen.

I tried to reinstall the camera (I will try it again), but did not fix it. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this problem. I finally got everything the way I like it on this ROM and I hate have to do it all over again so soon.

have you looked at the TF2D thread ( all of them ) along the way people have posted fixes for problems they have occurred.

I know there was an issue with the camera based on the Kitchen that was used (Vevito's possbily?) - I asked about rolling the camera software back, and I was told that there are issues that won't allow it to fgunction. I figured this out because Octro Video would not work - I ended up re-imaging SprintManillaFullv1.6 back onto my phone, even though I loved the Dette's 2.3 - I will be waiting until they resolve the camera issues....let's cross out fingers!

Yeah.. I belive it is the Vevito kitchen.. I looked all over for issues with the camera.. couldnt find anything useful. I tried to reinstall several versions, gets the same problem. It looks like a video issue more than a camera issue. I'll keep looking, or maybe reflash.

I'm having this same problem with the Sprint 6.1 rom and M2D. Any fix?

On OMJ ROM, my camera works fine until I reassign the camera button. It does the same thing where the menu portion of M2D is still there in camera mode. A hard reset and leaving the button assignment keeps my camera usable...
