Official Verizon GPS FIX issues...

I have read the entire forums and it seems like the only thing that works is geting the QPST editor and adjusting the IP setings. That is all fine and dandy but my phone seems to have lost the modem fuctionality after I flashted with OMJ's Clean rom.

I was thiking of instaling different rom and geting all this to work and them switching back the OMJ's but I guess the setings get wiped out.

Now if the seting is in the rom cant we just find what to edit in the rom and make it work that way. I hate the verizon customization and I realy dont want to run it but all the damn roms that would let me do the fix have the verizon crap loaded on them.

Any way get this done differently?

Changes made in QPST will survive a hard reset, but maybe carrier customiaztion will override OPST changes.

What radio are you running?

Im running 3.37.10 radio.. Rom version is OMJ 3.09...
Do you know what the different DLL files in the verizon customization are for?

None of the tethering works ISC, DUN, BT DUN, PAN it just wont recognise my phone. Active sync is fine and advanced networking is ok, but I cant get the laptop on the internet.

So, VZW wants to charge me $9/mo to enable the VZ Navigator! Is there an easy way to unlock the GPS? Can somebody please recommend some software and a fix to this lameness? I'm new to WM... This is my first PDA phone that's not a berry. Hopefully somebody puts a nice rom kitchen together soon.

Also, will this work? The phone is still stock from the factory --
