unresponsive screen

My phone was working fine yesterday. However, I had to turn off my phone for a flight. When I turned it back on, it was very laggy, contacts list is empty (I still have phone numbers), touch screen is extremely unresponsive, and many of my hard key presses are delayed. Not sure how this happened. This happened one other time (always when I'm traveling, so it's a hassle). Last time I did a hard reset and it was back to normal. I am not back by my computer for a few days, so I didn't want to hard reset until I had my contact information. Any ideas?

maybe a soft reset or close some of your running programs.

Re: unresponsive screen

Ok, so I just got an incoming txt as well as a calendar reminder notification. Now my phone seems fine (3 days later), plus I am back in my hometown. I'm glad I didn't do a hard reset. Phone is now fully responsive as before, and my contacts all show up again. I don't know why. Any thoughts?
