Battery Life suddenly dropped

Usually I go a full day with no charge.

Today my battery died mid day, and I soft rebooted, then charged phone to 93%.

It's almost dead again at the end of the day. I'm pretty sure something is causing it but I'm not sure which option might of inadvertently got checked? I don't feel like hard resetting. Any ideas?

could be a ton of reasons. connection, apps, useage. settings

I'm having the same problem. Nothing has changed in usage either. Even connected to our exchange server all day doesn't kill it this quickly. I've got an appointment with Sprint tonight. Hopefully will go well.

ARe you guys using GPS a lot. Constant GPS kills mine in like 4 hours.

Constant charging and connected via sync to pc will wear it out. I've been threw 3 allready. Just changed rom's on mine, getting a little better battery performance. I will probably end up buying the big battery and new cover. I seen them on ebay for like $50 for battery and door.

I think I found out why my batter suddenly dropped to 2-3 hours each charge. I opened the battery and cleaned the battery terminal on both the battery and the phone with a pencil's eraser. I'm still using my 10 months old battery and the life of it is even better than when it's brand new. Before on a regular day, I can go about 14 hours of light use before I need to charge it. For the past 4 days, I get about 35 hours before it beeps low battery. I hope this info can help someone out.
