Yes, the touch even does stereo music over bluetooth. My Plantronics Voyager 855 works over 40ft away.

i could be wrong but i think you have to pair the device in connections and then go to programs and turn on bt audio. i am not sure if the stock rom has this feature. i personally use wirevo s300 to listen to music because the sound is better and you can change the song, pause, and volume from the headset. hope this helps

It also sucks in the car as a bluetooth headset, because you would have to have both ear pieces in, and the mic is in the left ear piece next to the glass, and can't pick up much but noise. IMO |

Thanks for your opinion like I was saying I use it in the gym and that's it but the sound quality is great and the distance it works at is also great...I would never recommend using a headset while driving that is in both ears... |

Re: Is it possible with the Touch to listen to music over bluetooth headset?
I have an aftermarket ROM...version 3.02 date 4/23/08
I don't see an option to enable sounds to come through the headset...best bet is to download one of those programs? Wirevo S300 is apparently a headset, not the program I need BTA6 from what I can find on the internet "BW-BTA6: Description:
Bluetooth USB Adapter is a quick and inexpensive solution as Bluetooth plug-on modules to computers. It enables computers to communicate wirelessly with any bluetooth peripherals (such as computers, notebooks, cell phones, printers, PDAs, digital-camera, and etc…." But I am not trying to connect a computer to my headset..I need to turn on my headset so that all audio comes out the headset, not just phonecalls. Last edited by slackeyed; 11-07-2008 at 01:34 PM. |
