Re: Whose keeping there Touch just for Android
Just a quick noob question as I am trying to learn. I have the VX6900 variant, if I put android on it, will it still work as my verizon phone?

Re: Whose keeping there Touch just for Android
I have to agree with you on that one. With TF2d, a working version of opera, and many of the opal aps, like slide to answer, I dont see much of an upgrade to the diamond or touch pro. I was planning on getting the pro, but my touch doesnt lag, battery lasts all day, and I'm still going strong on the Full screen keyboard. I want to wait for a windows mobile 7 phone that differentiates its self more from the touch. Not to mention android is really starting to take off on the vogue, I see a lot of possibilities once more developers start to see the potential and dive in.

Re: Whose keeping there Touch just for Android
GPS still doesn't work but calling, texting, web browsing does. seems stable to. Ive had it running fine for the last 2 days on the newest build with no issues.
here is the link over to xda where most of the developing is going on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=382265 |

Re: Whose keeping there Touch just for Android
Yep for the most part the biggest thing I was waiting on was SD card support which now works...A few freeware App stores are working. All in all it's pretty funtional minus GPS and a selection of on screen keyboard and buttons.

Re: Whose keeping there Touch just for Android
you can try it out as it doesnt overwrite winmo. http://www.myhtcphone.com
Install the cab file there, run Android, play with it. reset your phone to go back to WinMo
