S2U2 and the Answer call slider

I recently put Dette's rom on my vogue and absolutely love it compared to stock interface. However, when someone calls, the slide to unlock screen and the answer slider flicker back and forth so fast that i cant see who is calling which results in me not being able to answer the calls majority of the time. I have flashed from v2.0 to v2.3 and still seems to do that same even though v2.3 was supposed to include the updated s2u2. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas on how to fix?
