Slow Rev A speed.

I am living in NYC area and the speed of my sprint htc touch is slow I have conducted 7 tests at random times throughout the week and I average 400 - 450 kbps. The sprint map shows that I am in definitely in the Rev. A area. I am currently using OMJ manila 2d rom updated to sprint stock windows 6.1 then Radio 3.42.50 (from Bell). PRL 60613 PRI 2.04_003

I've heard that I should be recieving 800 kpbs anyway to see if i'm on Rev A, or fix this problem.

Whats your upload speed like?

Hey Joey you may not have a problem there because im running pretty much the same setup there as you and I was having the same issue with speed now I just checked it and I got 1301K download and 431K upload So Im gonna guess it has alot to do with how busy the system is probably like any other internet everything is shared. So i wouldnt get to upset about it just keep doing test on it if it never gets any faster then maybe you have an issue...hope that eases you mind a little...Have a great day...

Well it's been constant, no speeds have ever topped over 550 even late at night. What's a good way or site to measure upload on the touch?

I just tethered the phone and tested at speedtest.net, and the speed was 425kbps download and 515 upload. Weird to see that the upload was faster than the download...

I use both speakeasy.net and speedtest.net and about that upload speed that is odd usually it is relative to the download speed. keep testing though also try different usb ports when testing...???ya never know

You definitely have Rev. A with that upload speed.

Why your download is so slow, I really can't say.
