Resetting SprintNav without a hard reset?
My SprintNav stopped working a few days ago. After calling Sprint, calling TeleNav, and calling Sprint again, I've been told I need to hard reset so SprintNav can be reset, because it isn't possible to uninstall and reinstall SprintNav any other way.
I started service with a 980 number, then had my 775 number from AT&T ported over a couple days later. Apparently SprintNav was set up with my 980 number, and TeleNav was informed that 980 was disconnected, but they weren't informed of the new 775 number. According to Sprint tech support, the only way to register 775 with TeleNav is with a fresh install of SprinNav. I have no idea why Sprint can't just call TeleNav and tell them what's what (that's what TeleNav told me to do), but whoever I talked to claimed they can't do that.
So do I have to hard reset, or is there a way to just reset SprintNav?
Also, if I hard reset, do I need to backup the phone number info, and how do I get into that? (I know it's ##something, but I don't remember what it is).
