tethering: how much before it raises eyebrows?

I am just curious as to how much use would be considered ok before verizon starts hitting me up with a fatter bill. I have unlimited data but I know it still doesn't mean unlimited data.

either you give $40 to sprint
or
you dont go over 5gb (or youre pretty much FznUCKED...its like $100 for a gig over)

Dunno how Sprint got into this, he distinctly said Verizon.

Anyhow chicubs is right though for Verizon also.

get pdanet software so they will not charge you

They will still charge you if you go over the 5GB limit. You think they can't tell how much data you are using...

Isnt the 5gb cap for air cards and PAM plans only? I thought using internet sharing on your ppc unlmtd. Although I suggest not going over 5gb to avoid raising eyebrows.

thats why i just tether my phone and use the internet from the computer instead of from the phone unless im in class and need to chck the weather

That is correct but they will investigate you very closely if you download a lot on your phone. Tethering is not allowed so, if they see you are... goodbye to you. 5GB is a huge amount. I've even torrented on my phone a bit (non-tethered) and barely gone over a gig a month.
