How to Completely Reset Touch

I bought a Diamond so I am selling my Touch. I did a hard reset, but I noticed that my phone number is still set as voicemail and the phone's current number. How do I remove this so the next user has to enter their number and not see mine?

your phone number will be there until someone else activates the phone
or u can reprogram it if u know the msl code

i wouldnt worry about it. the phone cant be used when you activate your diamond. that new phone will have your number on your carrier. the new user will have to activate the phone with their carrier before they can use it. i wouldnt mess with trying to reset anything else you have a diamond to play with now.
