Tethering Touch with WM6.1. Step by Step instructions

Might sound like a Silly Question but I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN OFF WI-FI!

beat the computer with a stick really hard and then yourself for choosing vista .... lol Jk

check your comp for a WIFI switch or button first, if nothing then go into connections and find the wifi and right click to disable.

hey all, im tethering right now with my touch but i hav a q.....how o u get charged for this..cuz i dont want to get charged for it, im connected via usb and using dhharveys lack vista rom.. it works fine and says sprint pcs on my phon whe i click the wireless manager.. i guess u only get charged if it says phone as modem?? im on sprint thanx

after you install this cab perform a soft-reset of your phone (just restart it)
After you phone completely finishes booting up follow these steps:

1)Open Up your browser on your phone and wait for it to display a webpage.
2)Minimize the browser

HERES MY PROBLEM:
Everything works for me from Steps 1-8.
I actually connect to the ROUTER...but not the INTERNET.

Instead of saying "Access: Local and Internet"
it just says "Access Local"

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong...or how to get around this issue?

I have the HTC Vogue from alltel, and I came across the same "Greyed Out" connect button as the poster above. Even though i'm having no issues with my active sync, it states that it is disconnected for internet sharing. Anyone have a solution for this?

Sprint Vogue user, and Im having pretty much the same issue. Once i try to connect, i get an error message while its trying to dial.
