Help with radiorefurbish.exe

So while trying to update my XV6900 I accidentally let the Alltel rom customize. I apparently need to run radiorefurbish but I am not sure how. My understanding was that using resco/tc I would navigate to the windows folder than find the radiorefurbish.exe file, next I would choose run and add \Refurbish as a paramater then it ok and it should do its thing. My problem is nothing happens. I have tried \refurbish, /refurbish, and /Refurbish as well with no luck. What am I doing wrong? I have tried searching everywhere but all I can find are posts saying you need to run radiorefurbish but nothing saying how. Is there a specific rom I need installed? Perhaps one of the stock Sprint or Alltel roms?

Re: Help with radiorefurbish.exe

I would suggest doing a hard reset and dont let the customizations run this time. Or you could just install the DCD carrier cab.

The DCD carrier cab didnt seem to do anything nor the hard reset with no customizations.

Re: Help with radiorefurbish.exe

What exactly is or isnt the phone doing?

You might just want to flash again to either the same or a different rom. The rom carrier shouldnt make a difference. Just dont let the customizations run on a non verizon specific rom.

Re: Help with radiorefurbish.exe

My PRI (v2.xxx) got messed up which apparently is not allowing me to get a data connection.

Re: Help with radiorefurbish.exe

What I would do at this point is manually put your phone into the bootloader (hold the Power button and camera button at the same time) then plug it into your usb on your computer. Then use a RUU flash utility to flash your phone to a verizon specific rom. I've had this happen before and this is exactly how I did it.
