iGo8 Primer

I was wondering if there is a primer cab for the iGo8 GPS system? I found it in the kitchen but have not been able to find just the cab file. If anynioe has it please let me know where you got it from...or better yet post a link.

i used to use google maps...now that i have done the agps hack there is no need i get locks in ~10 sec

I tried using the baffles program, I linked to the proper exe file and set the timing to 20, 30, and 60 seconds but all it does is the "thinking" icon and then goes away. I don't even get a screen. If I select the file in File Explorer all I get is the windows icon saying it is thinking and then it disappears. I don't get a screen that says GPS is locked and it doesn't even open iGo at all.

Yeah, I was hoping not to resort to that. It kills my battery. I still don't have a car charger so battery life is pretty important. But I guess that is the only way to to go

I've been using AstroGpsLauncher with a Igo8.lnk file and it has been running great...By the time its boots in Igo8 it already has connected to satellites...Should be able to find it if you google it

Same here though it does sometimes take a little longer to get the lock, but that may just be because I'm stuck in the mountains
