Setting my vogue to always roam
I just upgraded to the alltel 6.1 rom and I just saw rA on my phone for a bried second. I know sprint and verizon hav EVDO in columbus georgia. I am not sure whose towers I connected to. Maybe they were Alltel. I currently have the 40038 PRL. But I read that this was only for when I am outside my home network. Is there a way that I can use sprint's rA all the time?

I am the exact opposite. When I first got the phone I guess I was in an Alltel area. Now I just moved to Atlanta and my roaming light is ALWAYS flashing and even after #228 it still doesnt go off. I called alltel to ask them and they said as long as its flashing since I have the nationwide plan its not a problem. But before I moved here the light was never flashing and it showed EV at the top.. now its just always 1X and the light always flashes. It gets annoying.

when i go to atlanta it did the same thing. try changing your PRL. I think i used 40036 or 40038. It helped me from roaming out in jonesboro, stockbridge, and sandy springs. |

Also I changed my PRL to 40038 and now I see rA in more areas now. No roaming triangle either.
