TCPMP not automatically being defaulted??

I got tcpmp to work withthe videos I had already downloaded, but when I go to you tube or google video it say's i don't have a current versionof flashplayer. it doesn't automatically switch over to tcpmp when i click on a video like it did before I switched to win 6.1. This also happened when I installed tcpmp on a buddies sprint touch with factory rom. I really like 6.1 but still want to watch vid's. any ideas?????????
