"IOTA" icon?

Okay, maybe I'm crazy. But a friend just called me, and the touch lit up a split second before as usual. But just before the ringer, it let out two strange "dings", and as I was answering, I noticed a red indicator in the top. Not sure if it was where the "EV" or signal strength normally are, but somewhere near there. And I think it said "IOTA".

I was fairly fast, and I was able to answer and talk fine.

Anyone know what it was? Nothing mentioned like that in the book.

Re: "IOTA" icon?

The iota icon is the indicator that your phone is updating the data profile. It stands for internet over the air.
