Going Back???

When I first recieved my vogue I upgraded it to 6.1. Now I find cool things that aren't compatible with it. Like I purchased Flashed themes and downloaded the files to make it work but nothing...someone told me I have to be running 5.0 or 6.0. How do I go back to 6.0 or does anyone know how to make the things work with 6.1. What are the advantages of even having 6.1 over the original program. I am very new to this and would like to recieve all the help I can. Even everyone here was a newb at sometime.

what are you trying to run?(apps.) little more info. please, maybe we can fix ya up.

loading posted roms, oem and game packs...things like that. I've tried following the instr. When I run unlock program,( to use custom rom) I get the 3 color screen soft reset and then try to reconnect to active sync, my vogue locks up and will not reconnect to install files...(ruu) I have to take the battery out nd reset.Maybe i'm just doing it wrong. My main thing is like the oem files, where do you put them in active sync explorer to put on vogue?
