use the crystal cat litter, its just sillica gel stuff, i submersed a phone once and put it in a ziploc with that stuff for a couple days and it dries completly.

Pull the battery and cover off and dip it in rubbing alcohol. It will take away all the water and other crap that may have gotten in there. Done it to a couple of devices with good results.

actually, on the warranty side, my warranty covers the phone being lost or stolen, so if it ever gets water damage to it I'll make sure I "cant find" the phone anymore and get a whole new one.

Another vote for rice. Or if your oven goes pretty low, put it in there for a few hours on the lowest setting.

It may seem like your phone works fine now, but in a few months if it starts acting strange, its probably due to corrosion. In that case, you can just lose you phone...
