can the touch read microsdhc or anything higher than 4gb

Compatible up to 8gb and go on eBay or when you get 50 posts then check out ppcgeeks bargain trader...

Touch can read up to 32GB microSDHC, but largest capacity available right now is 16. Meanwhile 8 gigers are down to just a bit over $20! More good info here:

i dont trust ebay due to rampant fake mem sticks, NEVER buy psp sticks from there

I always buy from eBay and have never have an issue. If you use eBay, only get items that are New, Buy It Now, and shipped from North America. Those people can get into serious trouble if caught selling fakes.

Watch out for Hong Kong. Never order memory from there.

this subject has been covered in several other posts on this site. 8gb is max as far as the specs and anyone has said, did you actually get over 8gb to read? amazon sells the card for less than $30
