Sprint Touch to Cricket... Which ROM?

I have been browsing this forum looking a stable ROM to load on my wifes touch. It looks like about 50 different ones and don't know which to use. Nothing super...just a simple and nice. This is a new Sprint phone and hears what it has:

WM 6.1
ROM version 3.03.651.4
ROM date 6/30/08
Radio Version 3.42.30

Just point me to a link that has instructions and everything I need.

Right now I am using Vet Vito's kitchen on cricket. It works quite well yet I haven't gotten Picture Messaging to work yet. His link is here:

all you have to do is run the kitchen and check what you want in your rom. Then don't forget to install DCD carrier cab (cricket) after you flash the rom.

If you are looking more for easy flash and go I would recommend moo's rom over at hofo. Here is the link:

I would recommend PM'ing him for V.2 its his latest and he is giving it out but has not posted it yet.

I am having trouble changing rom the rom. I put the rom in the RUU folder and get it going. It goes thru the process finishes but when the phone restarts it sticks on the splash screen. I manually put it in bootloader then load back the sprint Rom and its back.

I used unlocker 2.31 What am I doing wrong?

which rom did you use? If you used moo's then you have to get a code...

I have try moo's rom and he give me a code(serial) but I can't get to the point for it to ask for it. I've tried another rom I found here at PPC but I get the same thing.

When RUU get to 100% the phone resets but once it get to the HTC splash screen it stops. Thats all I get each time I try to flash a new rom.

I have cricket service but i cannot get internet doe any one know what the setting it needs to be in?

ok well I have not heard anything about a white screen. You are sure that you checked your phone and that when you go into bootloader it says "2.31.CoKe" because that would be the only thing else that might stop it.

I would actually check the setting's they described to flash a mogul but they will work with the vogue. The settings are about halfway through the first post.

I have tried various roms on my touch. Some of them would load and some would not. I not sure why some would other than it had something to do with the radio version that was on the rom.

But anyway...I got To0's cricket rom working on the phone. It took me a few a few PM's with him and he got me straighten out. Most of the problem was with me. I had too many Rom's and phone programs on my computer and was getting them mixed up with what I really needed.

But now its up and running...no problems. My only concern is that on these forum's...Cricket is not very popular and therefore not many rom made for cricket.

I found some that was started but wasn't finished, was out dated, or had too much unnessary cab's and splash screens on it.

To0's rom has a very nice touch to it.

Yeah Cricket isn't the most popular carrier around here so the search button is the best way to figure things out. Glad that moo got you all situated out.
