No MMS without Data Plan?

I just got a touch(vogue) with an unlimited message plan, only talk and message, and I just realized sprint does not allow MMs

. I was wondering if without a data plan would I be able to send any picture messages, and if not could I just complain to sprint and get a free $20 credit per month to cover data?
