Camera Album shows everything?

All of a sudden my Camera Album has started to show pictures from everywhere on the storage card, including Opera cache. Is there a setting that specifies in what folders it should look?

Thanks!

Re: Camera Album shows everything?

Sorry, my bad. I'm running the latest Sprint ROM, WM6.1. I see no notation regarding version of Camera Album, but it's the one that comes with that ROM.

Re: Camera Album shows everything?

Geeze, that's the ROM/camera I'm running, but the only pic Camera Album shows are those in:

\Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA

But, you might not have a 100MEDIA folder, in which case I believe CamAlb shows everything! Mine got created, I expect, when I set pics taken with Touch cam to be stored on memory card. Or, possibly, when I took my 1st pic after making that setting. Give it a try. If you don't have a card, still try taking a pic to create a 100MEDIA folder on internal memory and make CamAlb look only there?

Hope this works, MrG

Re: Camera Album shows everything?

Thanks MrG. While that wasn't it, it provided a clue. I had used Schaps' Advanced Config to change the folder in which to look for pictures, to a folder on my external storage card. So I assumed I could get rid of the \My Documents\My Pictures folder, since it was no longer being used. Wrong! Apparently if that folder does not exist, it will as you say search everywhere. Creating that folder makes it behave correctly, even if the folder is empty.

Mystery solved. Thanks!
