Help...Can't Remove Older Version of Sprite Backup

Instructed by Sprite Backup tech support to remove version 6.2.2 and re-install 6.5 due to a failure to install the upgrade.

In trying to follow that instruction I attempted to remove Sprite Backup from my Sprint Touch.

It won't un-install. I get a TMARSHALLER.EXE error.

Anybody have a suggestion or work around?

I did contact Sprite tech support but they havn't replied.

Go ahead and install the Sprite 6.5 update over your current 6.22 version, ignoring any and all error/failure to install messages. Same thing happened to me... but 6.5 installed ok and works fine on my Touch.

Same here. The new version installed fine on my Verizon 6900, and works without any problems. The only thing bothering me is that now I have two Sprite backups in my programs. One is just Sprite backup, and the other is Sprite backup (1). I can't get rid of either one of them, but I can live with it.

Yes to the "It did install".

But you have 6.5 on the desktop and 6.2.2 on the Touch. I was trying to fix that issue.

I'll write to Sprite tech support again.

How did you guys get the Sprite backup program, is it free?

Sprite tech support did send me a file to remove Sprite Backup.

I never did use it. I deleted every instance of Sprite Backup from my Touch and reinstalled the latest version, and now I have 6.5 on the pc and the Touch. It is a fine backup program.

Sprite tech support did say they were aware of the uninstall issue and were working on a solution
